The GGR for the quarter was € 215.96 million, which implies a decrease of -10.05% quarter over quarter and a rise of 3.38% year over year.

Regarding the rest of the main figures, deposits and withdrawals of the players, their variation rates decline in relation to the previous quarter, -8.44% and -4.10% respectively. Marketing expenditure decreases -13.38% quarter over quarter and new accounts experiences a fall with respect to the previous quarter, -45.29%. Details are shown in Table 1.

In the analysis of the GGR by game segments, it is observed that:

The € 215.96 million of GGR are distributed among € 91.96 million in Betting (45.58%); € 3.27 million in Bingo (1.51%); € 99.88 million in Casino (46.25%); € 0.51 million in Contests (0.23%) and € 20.34 million in Poker (9.42%).

The betting segment has a decreasing rate of -16.62% quarter over quarter and an increasing rate of 34.95% year over year. There is a decline in both with respect to the previous quarter; pre-match, -8.96; in-played sportsbook, -13.30%. In this quarter, “Parimutuel Horse Betting ” increased 23.08%.

Bingo has experienced a decreasing of -9.19% quarter over quarter and -35.28% year over year.

In the casino segment, there has been a slightly rise of 0.37% quarter over quarter and an annual variation rate of 6.73%. Slots and live roulette are the games with the highest increasing rate, 12.08% and 11.92%. Compared to previous quarter, these games had also an increase of 6.09% and a decrease of -6.18% respectively. On the other hand, roulette has increased a 0.44% quarter over quarter and decreased a -27.42% year over year.

Contests experienced a fall of -70.82% quarter over quarter and -87.09% year over year. This segment continues an irregular behaviour with annual variation rates in the second quarter of -68.04% in 2018; 60.75% in 2019; 588.67% in 2020.

Poker presents a decline of -18.48% quarter over quarter and -46.74% year over year. There is a decrease quarter over quarter in both, poker cash and poker tournament, -8.93% and -21.93%, respectively. Poker cash decreases of -52.13% and poker tournament -44.08% year over year.

As a summary, the percentage distribution of the GGR for the different segments in this quarter of the period from 2018 to 2021 is shown in Table 2.

Marketing spending has been € 128.41 million in the last quarter. It may be broken down into € 10.02 million affiliation expenses; € 7.56 million sponsorship; promotions € 49.21; and advertising € 61.61 million. Marketing spending experienced a decline of -13.38% quarter over quarter. All marketing variation rates were negative year over year. Promotions are broken down into cost of bonus included in prizes, € 21.71 million and cost of bonus not included in prizes, € 27.50 million.

The monthly average of active game accounts is 991,196; which implies a decrease of -11.39% quarter over quarter and increase of 54.17% year over year. The monthly average of the new game accounts is 231.167; with an increase of 67.60% year over year and a fall of -45.26% quarter over quarter.
